Owner and manager Paul Hanley, a graduate of Cornell University’s famous Hotel School, founded Blue Heron Café in 1997. Chef Eugene Bethel’s personal touch is on everything served. He has been on board since the inception 18 years ago.
The restaurant has an extensive wine list and an irresistible array of all-homemade desserts. They make their own bread too! The restaurant is located in the heart of Chestertown, Maryland’s Historic District and is open Monday through Saturday.
