Through My Father’s Eye: A Community Film Viewing

Discover the incredible story of the life of James Coursey Sr., the former mayor of Denton, in this documentary film by Dr. Stephanie Bailey. Through My Father’s Eye is an untold black American perspective about life from the segregated times in the 1950’s through post segregated America into modern day. This documentary film is based on, and contains, hours of actual footage filmed by James Coursey Sr. over two decades of his life.
