Salisbury Art Space Presents Regional Art Exhibition

SSalisbury Art Space is presenting the 2019 Showcase of Eastern Shore Artists in collaboration with non-profit public art galleries in neighboring counties on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and in Southern Delaware. Each gallery submitted three art pieces that best represent their community’s art. The exhibition, held in the Main Gallery, showcases 31 artists and 34 selected artworks. From folk art to fine art, the exhibition features ceramics, fiber art, baskets, glass, jewelry, photography, paintings in oil, gouache, water color, encaustic and silk paintings with fabric dyes. 

The Robinson Gallery will feature  exquisite solo exhibition Reincarnation by Jinni Kim (Jinsoon Oh), with artworks inspired by her experience with and understanding of nature. Artworks by the Clay Guild of Delmarva will be featured in the gift shop. ;

This special showcase is sponsored by First Shore Federal Savings & Loan Association. Held in conjunction with the National Folk Festival, the exhibition is reaching a national audience and will continue through October 3rd.  The public is invited to a reception to be held on Friday, September 20, from 5-7:30 p.m. as part of Salisbury’s 3rd Friday celebration to discover the treasures our region’s talented artists have created.
