“Interpreting My Observations” Original Pastels by Nick Serratore at Peninsula Gallery in Lewes, DE
Opening Reception, November 2, 5-7pm
Lewes pastel artist, Nick Serratore, will be displaying a monumental collection of 20 new pieces in his solo exhibition, at the Peninsula Gallery. In this show, Nick depicts the beaches, marshes, and woodlands of Delaware, along with the rolling hills and farmland of Pennsylvania in his signature style of vivid technicolor. Please join Nick at the artist’s reception on Saturday, November 2nd from 5-7 pm. The show will hang from November 2nd through 24th.

20th Annual Photography Show Featuring Exhibitions with Nick Cusmano, “Naturally Speaking” and Jeanne Ott, “Terrestrial”

Both Nick Cusmano and Jeanne Ott will be the featured artists and the remainder of the gallery will be open to all photographers.  Enjoy light fare while enjoying live music provided by Dave Massimiano. Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place winners along with a “best in nature” award honoring Norma Calabro. This is a free and family-friendly event.  CCAC is accessible to all persons with disabilities.

Community Symphony Orchestra to present “An Evening of Music with the NCSO”

The orchestra will present a marvelous program of classical music, including works by Handel, Bach, Mozart, Respighi, Rossini, Strauss, Del Borgo, and Barnes.  The first half of the concert will include works for string orchestra, and the second half will include works for full orchestra. Hosted by the Cecil County Arts Council.

Fall Market on the Riverwalk in Milford, DE
November 23, 10am-2pm
The Riverwalk Farmers Market vendors will be returning for one more market day. Starting at 10am on Saturday November 23rd the vendors will be set-up in the park. Come on out for your Thanksgiving dinner supplies and get a jump start on your holiday shopping. We will be open until 2pm. There may also be some active elves getting ready for Santa’s arrival so pop in the Santa House and see what they’re up to. See you at the market!

Free Performance of Nutcracker Story Time by Eastern Shore Ballet Theatre
November 23, doors open at 10am, Ocean City Center for the Arts
A reading of the traditional Nutcracker holiday story will be mixed with live performances by 20 ballet dancers in full costume and make-up. The ballet will take place in the main Thaler Gallery of the Arts Center. Following the performance, children will be invited to meet and take pictures with the characters.
