Knitting Bee and Fiber Arts Social
February 1st, 2pm – 4pm
Interested in participating in Adkins Arboretum’s Yarn Storming event but not sure where to begin? Check out this pop-up fiber arts social! Participants will learn about the yarn storming phenomenon and receive basic instruction. Coffee, tea, and treats will be provided. Please come prepared with your own supplies; limited yarn will be available to share. Projects created as part of the knitting bee will be used to decorate Arboretum trees in time for the March 8th Yarn Storming reception. Sponsored by the Arboretum in partnership with FACES. FREE!

Downtown Dover First Friday
February 7, 5-7pm

Enjoy a variety of talented musicians in downtown Dover in shops and at the library. My Roots clothing boutique will host Ryan Schumacher and Friends from Wesley College, and saxophonists Wesley Melvin at House of Coffi and Grady O’Connor at The Delaware Store.  Simaron Pizza and Steaks will feature guitar/harmonica by Rick Hudson and at Grey Fox and Grille, acoustic singer/songwriter Emily Moses McNair McNatt. Shop Small Passport Day & Pop-Up Shop
February 8th, 10am – 4pm
Downtown Denton invites you to their Shop Small Passport Day & Pop-Up Shop event. Participating businesses will have a Shop Small poster in their window. These businesses will have something to share with you as a thank you for showing your support, and they will also stamp your passport. Passports will be available to pick up at any participating store. First Friday Opening 
February 7, 5-7pm, Ocean City Center for the Arts
