Join Kelly Jackson – a seventh generation Dorchester County farmer – to find seasonal, fresh and delicious specialties from bay to beach. Kelly owns Emily’s Produce and sells her fresh produce and flowers at the Cambridge Market overlooking the Choptank River.
Most farmer’s markets are open seasonally from May through October so you can visit with producers who grow and harvest your food. When it’s summer on the shore, you can always find sweet corn, tomatoes and melons! But today’s markets offer all that and more, from berries bursting with flavor and exotic vegetables to artisanal cheeses and fresh-baked goods, there are dozens of markets and farm stands throughout the region.
